Laghi di Cancano - "Little Stelvio"
Situated to the North of Bormio, lies Laghi di Cancano and the Torre di Fraele climb which can either be added to your day (Stelvio or Gavia pass) or is the perfect climb to have an easier day out in the mountains. With an average of 7% and 900m of climbing, this climb will still push your legs but it is worth it! Once you go beyond the famous Torres (towers) the road flattens out revealing a huge and beautiful lake. If you have a gravel bike then there are a huge number of trails to go ride/play on or you can even rent one at the top (in the summer only). We definitely recommend that.
A great climb and if you're in the Bormio area, a must.
