Splugen Pass (Passo dello Spluga)

The pass road connects the Swiss Hinterrhein valley and Splügen in the canton of Graubünden with the Valle San Giacomo and Chiavenna in the Italian province of Sondrio, the road continuing to Lake Como. The swiss side gently flows up the valley until you reach a section of switchbacks taking you to the summit at 2114m. This pass combined with the San Bernardino could combine to create a phenomenal day out.
